From the Principal’s desk CBSE XII – 2017 Result Announcement

Dear Parents,

Greetings!

We are pleased and proud to share highlights from another set of outstanding CBSE exam results for the Class of 2017. Once again, our students have earned a comprehensive range of excellent individual scores with a composite average that epitomizes excellence and hard work.

This year we had a full batch of 112 students, an impressive 63.4% scored more than 90% in their best four subjects. This bodes well for those aspiring to gain admission to top DU colleges and other outstanding universities in India and abroad. Nearly 52% of our students have scored over 90% in the overall five subject average.

More than the absolute scores, we are extremely pleased that 90% of our students earned grades of A1 and A2 – 67% of our students earned grades of A1, which refers to the top 1/8th of students in the nation, while 23% earned A2, indicating the next 1/8th of students nationwide.

The batch earned a 5 subject mean average of 88.3% and 5-subject median score of 90.1%. Our mean average for best 4 subjects (which is the score that most schools report as their average) is 89.9%. We are pleased with how well our students have done overall, especially in core subjects such as Economics, Political Science, Biology, Geography, Sociology and History.

Urvi Mehta has topped The School and Commerce stream with 97.40% 5-subject average. Tamanna Agarwal has topped Science with 96.20% 5-subject average. The Humanities stream was topped by Devyani Chhibber with 95.60% 5-subject average.

A total of nine students have scored a perfect 100% in a subject. Four students scored a perfect 100% in Economics, 2 scored 100% in Business Studies and 1 each in Mathematics, Biology and Painting.

For History and Political Science 100% of students have secured A1 grades.

As our classes get larger and continue to reflect our commitment to full inclusion, we are pleased that we can support our high fliers as well as those whose success is measured by their hard work and steady improvement. It is rewarding to observe the tremendous growth demonstrated by students who exceeded their own wildest dreams, even in the face of challenges they had to overcome, and we are particularly grateful for the mentors who never lost faith in them.

We extend our heartiest congratulations to the students, their families and teachers, all of whom have contributed to this achievement. Attached you will find further analysis of the scores for your information and perspective.

Warm regards,
Kaye Jacob, Principal
